GRACE BIBLE INSITUTE & SEMINARY Instructor’s Name:Prophet Ezekiel Edumoh Term and Year: 1st semester, 1st year COURSE SYLABUS MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT Course Description: This study focuses on the ministry of the Holy Spirit, spiritual fruit, and spiritual gifts. Students are guided in discovery of their own spiritual gifts and position of ministry in the Body of Christ. Course Objectives: • Describe the personality of the Holy Spirit. • List various names and titles of the Holy Spirit. • Identify emblems representing the Holy Spirit. • Describe the ministry of the Holy Spirit. • Explain how to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. • Receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. • List and define the gifts of the Spirit. • Identify your spiritual gift(s). • Identify the fruit of the Spirit. • Identify the works of the flesh. • Develop the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life. Course Requirements: Read entire text. Complete all chapter study questions. (Due at weekly meetings as assigned.) Complete writing assignment. Attend weekly classes. Pass mid-term exam. Pass final exam. Writing Assignment: Required 8-10 typewritten pages double spaced with 1 ½ inch margins. Topic: Developing a common ground for the Gifts and the Fruits of the Spirit in the Human life. Grading Distribution: All text material read, attendance and completion of study guide and passing final exam is mandatory to pass the course.
