INTRODUCTION
GRACE BIBLE INSTITUTE & SEMINARY
DOCTORAL PROGRAM
INTRODUCTION
The GBIS Doctoral program is a follow up of the Masters program that has been running for the past 7 years.
ACCREDITATION/AFFILIATION
We believe in accreditation and affiliation provided such do not compromise standards. It must be understood that our calling is to give ministerial training to men and women called into ministry. We are not preparing people for the secular but for the work of the ministry; hence all our degrees are church-based for church-work.
Since affiliation and accreditation does not guarantee standard, it is our responsibility therefore to be committed to, and ensure that the best standard is given to our students. Our entry qualification is what obtains in other secular tertiary institutions all over the world.
Our graduates are already ministering in and outside the shores of this Country and this is what confirms our educational standard. For further information, you can call for a copy of our educational philosophy at the office of the Head of Administration.
Grace Bible Institute & Seminary is not affiliated to any secular institution of higher learning nor is it accredited by any accrediting agency. But our curriculum is tailored from the American Association of Bible Colleges (AABC) and the Association of Theological Schools and Seminary (ATS). While we also contextualize it based on the need in our continent.
We are affiliated to Harvest-time Bible Institute in the USA, and International Victory Bible Institute also in the USA. Both schools authorises the use of their academic materials for our programs.
The two institutions have reputation and standard among the independent seminaries in the United States. We agree to their basic doctrines and educational philosophy which is in line with what we uphold, hence such a working relationship.
We hold a very high academic and spiritual standard for our students with full awareness that we are preparing them to compare with their counterparts in other disciplines of life.
Our programs are broad covering social sciences and narrowing down to the ministerial preparation.

The Universal Tri-Directional Axiom - Rev. Dr.(Mrs)Margaret Ikpatt - Resource Person
PREFACE
In a time when the ecclesiastical world is focused on having mega churches, huge auditoriums, lavish edifices and cleric stars it seems to be high time that someone turned to God’s word for guidance and direction on this subject. If the Apostolic Pentecostal movement intends to truly evangelize the world rather than strive to “be like other denominations”, then they must return to the scriptures for divine answers and comply with the truths found therein.
The world is in chaos and is looking for answers. Humanism is not producing. Communism and socialism have proven fruitless. And once again, leaders have failed to consider history--glancing at the past to discover ideas that successfully answered similar dilemmas of human suffering, equality, happiness, world evangelism, etc.
This book will attempt to revisit the history of humanity’s existence and the universe from a broad overview to catch a glimpse of some meaning and purpose, some continuum on which to anchor, from which to glean universal harmony and balance—an eternal spiritual and physical homeostasis for every element of existence—as well as explore the biblical road map for world evangelism for this generation. This is not a new consideration, but it is a needful, timely and critical one. Many have visited this question and have found valuable insight. They have shared their discoveries, yet they were grasped by so few or were only embraced for too short of a time. For example, the great revivals of Europe, America and around the globe were brief and are all but forgotten and certainly fell short of true global evangelism.
INTRODUCTION
While the eschatological epistemological musings of Kant, et.al., may synaptically titillate some, they are not usually very pragmatic for those people who usually and actually get things done. This book is not intended to join the “lofty ranks” of dust gathering books sitting on little visited book shelves. That place is for those philosophers who are eager to create more spin-off, philosophical critique, who themselves also tend to get little done.
This book, however, does aspire to become a useful global evangelism tool—a guide that will, hopefully, stimulate a global paradigm shift. This book also provides a broader view speaking to the WHY, HOW and WHEN questions, which this author believes is essential if a reader is going to truly grasp the need and reality of global evangelism.

Covenant Epistemology - Rev. Dr. Okafor - Resource Person
PREFACE
This book will lay essential fundamental salvific building blocks that have been missing from the minds of far too many Christians. Christianity is comprised of both thought and experience and one without the other dissolves Christianity into unstableness and shifting sands, void of elevated spiritual reality.
"...we walk by faith, not by sight".
2 Corinthians 5:7
"So then faith cometh by hearing (akoe), and hearing (akoe) by the word of YHVH."
Romans 10:17
The Greek word akoe means to "give audience to"; "to understand".
"But without faith it is impossible to please him..."
Hebrews 11:6
Faith requires both cognition (thought) and the senses. Sight is only a sense and can be misleading. YHVH's truths are spiritual and require faith that, yes, affect the physical, but are not understood by the senses. Only the mind can comprehend. The senses merely convey information to be assimilated and synthesized by the brain, the seat of the human spirit and origins of faith. And without faith, it is impossible to please YHVH. Thus, the only scriptural way to increase faith is to "hear" (akoe) the word of YHVH.
Hearing the word of YHVH requires self-discipline since it helps a person maintain an attention span long enough to “hear”. Once the information is assessed, it can be added to the knowledge and enlightenment base, which increases one's faith. This knowledge and enlightenment base is not just information, but specific spiritual information found within the scriptures.
This book will provide essential information critical to the establishment of strong faith in the hearts and minds of believers. It will also aid you to better grasp subsequent teachings. The reader will discover WHO they are and WHY they are who they are in the current context of human history. The reader will be introduced to WHY they think and believe the way they do and so on.
DISCLOSURE
Theology is popularly known as the science or the study of God (Theos - transliteration) and of the relations between God, man and the universe. However, the word Theos and Theology come from Greek influences (Hellenism) since the word Theos is a Greek prefix to each Greek deity which is not a term that Christ or the Apostles would have used. The Messiachim (a name used by Jews to collectively refer to the people who believe that Christ is Messiah) would have used the name YHVH (transliteration) instead of God and possibly Yahweh for the Tetragrammaton YHVH. Christ's name was Yahshua (or Yeshua), not Jesus. Jesus is an English translation of a Greek goddess of healing, Iesos/Iaso (transliteration). Some Jewish Messiachim historians believe that it is also probably linked to the origins of Zeus (transliteration), a Greek God. (Koster, 1986 and Wiseman, 1990). It is also believed that the name Jehovah was given prominence by the Vatican. It emerged by inserting the vowel points of Adonai into the sacred Tetra gram YHVH and symbolized the ecumenicalism of that period. (Wiseman, 1990). Therefore, YHVH-ology would more accurately describe the specialty study of the God of the Jews and the early church since they were Jews who believed that Yeshua was the Christ. The term "theology" would more accurately apply to the study of the Greek gods (and perhaps the gods of other non-Jewish and non-"Christian" religions) and not the YHVH of the Jews and of the Messiachim.
"Thou shalt call his Name Yeshua BECAUSE He shall save his people from their sins."
Matthew 1:21 (From the Holy Name Bible--Hebrew N.T.)
Therefore, these books use YHVH and Yeshua throughout referring to the English translated words "God" and "Jesus" respectively.

The Sincere Milk of the Word - Apostle Dr. Udom - Resource Person
PREFACE
While the interest in Christianity is on the rise on many fronts, there has been a declining interest in the things of God (and religion) in many industrialized nations for sometime and for reasons not always known to contemporary spiritual leaders. Historical religious appeal has been partly directed by the excitation of instinctive fear of the wrath of a tyrant (God) unhappy with the populations of empires of the ancient world and of today, and in particular the excitation of fear of this all powerful tyrant behind the unknown forces of nature. Not only is this appeal to the ready instincts of brute fear lost most of its force worldwide, it also lacks the ability to elicit any directness of response. Why? Because modern science and modern conditions of life have taught society to meet occasions of apprehension by critical scientific analysis of the causes and conditions of said apprehension. Additionally, the fall of the "Christian Political Powers" of the dark ages, who through political and ecclesiastical power controlled subjects for centuries by keeping them in ignorance, has also facilitated critical analysis. Thus every presentation of God under the aspects of POWER, CONTROL and/or JUDGMENT awakens within the listener of both an industrialized and many non-industrialized nations every modern instinct of critical reaction. In other words, it would not be unreasonable to say that old phraseology may be at variance with the psychology of the modern civilizations.
This pervasive fact, however, need not be looked at as all negative. This can be an OPPORTUNITY for both personal development (via the Biblical principle of "iron sharpeneth iron") and demonstration of true Christian character. Let spiritual leaders everywhere, rise to the occasion and become more focused on the purposive ness of "pure religion undefiled before God." Adjust the adjustable, abandon the abandon able, and cleave to the pure unadulterated truths and axioms that make pure religion what it is or ought to be. Let everything that can be shaken be shaken.
For example, a preacher can adjust his rhetoric when preaching to the lost by saying, `God is not interested in getting even with you, he's interested in forgiving you!' This statement does not cause one to abandon sacred truths. True, judgment day will come, which can be taught to the believer, however, the dispensation of GRACE, after all, is still valid for today. It is just as much a fundamental truth as judgment is.
Is this a call to compromise? Or to encourage spiritual leaders to abandon the fundamental beliefs and doctrines they teach? To the contrary. However, certain clichés, models, phraseologies, and paradigms may need adjusting so that "when in Rome", the Romans will listen to the message, understand the message AND be intrigued by the message; when with the barbarians, speak their language, too, reach them; all without losing the fundamental contemplation of moral and aesthetic values, i.e., the true beauty of holiness.
Know your audience by knowing the beliefs on which they stand; by understanding the very fibers of the fabric of their thinking. Knowing the motives of their behavior is vital to successful delivery and reception. Then, the "preacher" must live and be different from the general populace, being sure that his/her message and behavior are synchronized, i.e., practice what you preach!
In Christ's time the public was as astonished by his teachings as his miracles because, for one, he was an opponent of the organized religion of the day that placed religious/political oppression on the people and he did so without discarding the ancient morals. Secondly, he spoke with "authority"--an expert in the subject matter and presented legitimate citations to endorse his teachings. Thirdly, he practiced what he preached. Apostle Paul, who followed closely on the heals of Christ, was also a dynamic missionary because he too practiced these principles.
If a spiritual leader is unaware of these fundamental dynamics, there will be no adjustment when one is needed. If, however, he/she is aware but is unequipped the results are equal to the one oblivious to the problem, except that, awareness without the training and "tools of the trade" may evoke frustration. Is ignorance bliss? Perhaps for some, but not to the conscientious and self-respecting individual. The pursuit of truth demands a forward motion to unravel every tangled thought and uncover every knowable cause and effect.
This work attempts to unravel tangled thoughts and uncover causes and effects surrounding the fundamental teachings of Judeo-Christianity. Although some may take offense to the selected word usage of "Judeo", honest and thorough research reveals that Judeo nomenclature is very appropriate. Christ was from the tribe of Judah (true Jewery, whereas the other tribes are better known as Israelites or the "Lost House of Israel") and was therefore a Jew. Thus Christianity is of Jewish origin and is correctly described as Judeo-Christianity.
DISCLOSURE
Many early translated and "transcribed" Judeo-Christian writings can be found in the canonized Bible (Holy Writ). Old Testament writings were much slower in their development than the New Testament writings, as the history of the J-Document and in the P-Document reveal (Whitehead, 1967). Therefore, because Christianity is a religion of the Jews, it is appropriate to utilize Holy Writ as the ultimate resource from which to develop the Christian framework, particularly the entire canonized Old Testament. Christ and the Apostles quoted from its pages because it holds the writings and traditions of embraced Judaic thought, and more importantly it contains the essence and riches of the very "words of YHVH".
The Mystery of Christ and the Church - Prophet Dr. Ezekiel Edumoh - President/Resource Person
A PARADOX
In an era when people are well beyond being tired of lies and hypocrisy from world and governmental leaders, they are then faced with the added pain and frustration that their church leaders are failing to tell them the truth as well. Most clergy still refuse to tell the whole truth when they could (because they know it) and should (even if they do not know, but should know it). Not only is this failure a disservice to the Body of Christ but truly an abomination in the sight of YHVH.
Most clerics publicly claim they believe the Bible to be YHVH’s Word, which holds the truths of salvation, the definition of sin and a reasonable list of what acts are considered sinful, among many other life-giving words. Sadly, in the next moment most clerics reduce YHVH’s word into two categories, 1) Orthodoxy (traditional—salvific) doctrines and 2) Heterodoxy (nontraditional—non-salvific) doctrines. The question that must be asked, then, is this. Since when are mortal men given the authority to take any of YHVH’s words and reduce them to less than salvific? Whenever YHVH took the time to speak and interact with humankind, it was definitely salvific in nature. All (every word) of YHVH’s word is LIFE (Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 4:4; Luke 4:4) and without it, death is at the door.
This poses the next question. If clerics do or should know the truth, then why do they not share it with the Body of Christ? The answers come down to the same age-old problems that all humans face at varying degrees.
1. Said cleric is truly ignorant (although unlikely), yet pretends to know.
2. Said cleric knows the truth but either ignores it or deceives himself/herself into believing it is not important.
3. Said cleric knows the truth and knows its importance but refuses to disclose since he/she believes it may threaten his/her popularity and diminish his/her “cash flow” (security, etc.). Yes that is correct, the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life at work even among the clergy.
This book will make every effort to speak the whole truth regarding this subject matter, whether popular or not. The truth is the truth and it is not open to private interpretation (2 Peter 1:20-21), whereas, more often than not, most clerics present their own (or that of others) private interpretations on nearly all subjects they present to the Body of Christ.

Eschatological Epistemology - Pastor Dr. D. D. Hezekiah - Resource Person
PREFACE
The time of the end is here, within the last 45 years starting from 1981 A.D., as dated by the Book of Daniel. John gave even more end time details than Daniel did and now it is time for a greater unveiling of YHVH’s mysteries.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
Daniel 12:4
Pray that YHVH will give you wisdom as you read this book and come to know some of the mysteries of YHVH.
“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: 22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. 23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter.”
Daniel 2:21
